DAY 01
DhakaArrival at Dhaka & meet with guide. Upon arrival proceed to sightseeing in Dhaka city including Parliament house from outside, Dhakeswari temple, National museum, pink palace , Star mosque, Lalbahg Fort etc. In the evening back to hotel & overnight at hotel Dhaka Garden Inn.
DAY 02
Dhaka – Tangail – Bogra (229km/5hrs)Early morning start our trip from Dhaka to Bogra. En-route visit Tangail weaving village, organic farming, village life style etc. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue drive to Bogra. Overnight at hotel Naz Garden.
DAY 03
Bogra –Mahasthan – DinajpurMorning half, visit elementary school, weaving work and then proceed to rangpur. Enroute Mahasthangar (20km/30min). Here we visit the oldest archaeological site in the country. Lying on the western bank of the Korotoya River and dating back to at least the 3 century BC. The site is littered with reminders of its Buddhists, Hindu & Muslim past, and the oldest citadel of Bengal. Visit the citadel, Museum (if open). Continue to Dinajpur. Upon arrival check in and overnight at Dinajpur Parjatan Motel.
DAY 04
Dinajpur – Kantaji – Paharpur – RajshahiEarly morning after breakfast at hotel, visit the historical Kantagir temple. It is a late medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. Built by Maharaja Pran Nath, its construction started in 1702 CE and ended in 1752 CE, during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath. It boasts one of the greatest examples on Terracotta architecture in Bangladesh and once had nine spires, and then we will have a drive to Paharpur Buddhist Monastery (70km/02 hrs) (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Visit the UNESCO World heritage site Sompur Mahavihara, one of the most important archeological site s in the country. Once the largest Buddhist monastery south of the Himalayas, Sompura Mahavihara dates back to the 8th century and architecturally is more remising of the Buddhist shrine of the Burma & Cambodia then those of India the site and Museum in Paharpur. Lunch in Paharpur, and then proceed to Rajshahi, Dinner and Overnight at Rajshahi Parjatan Motel.
DAY 05
Rajshahi – Putia – Natore – DhakaAfter Breakfast, visit the silk processing factory in Rajshahi, then drive back to Dhaka. En route Puthia Hindu Temple City. The town is also an important cultural centre, with the nearby Hindu temples at Puthia proving us with a fascinating destination for this afternoon. Little known and rarely visited , the remarkable collection of atmospheric ruins include a number of bangle and Chu-chala style temples dedicated to shiva , Govinda, Annika . The town is also a home to impressive, but sadly fading, maharanis palace. Built during the late 19th century by Hemanta Kumari Devi. Continue drive to Dhaka. Lunch will be at local restaurant. Upon arrival at Dhaka, transferred to Hotel. Overnight at Dhaka Garden Inn Hotel.
DAY 06
Dhaka Transfer to the airport for departure
