Trip to Sundarbans

Katka and Kochikhali (Tiger Point)

Including Karamjol Eco Park

Tour itinerary for 4 Nts / 4 Days (2 Nts and/ 3 days in the Sundarban Reserved Forest.

Day 1:

At night, leave Dhaka by A/C bus/ train (Chair coach) for Khulna (Seat on basis).

Day 2:

Arrive at Khulna in the morning and transfer to our vessel. The boat will immediately start its journey towards the Sundarban forest. On the way, the boat will stop at Karamjal Eco Park and explore the mangrove forest walking through the wooden pathways, Crocodiles breeding centre and arboretum. The cruising will continue until it reaches Tiger point ( Kochikhali)  Just relax on any of your three decks, you can have your lunch, tea /coffee at your free  option and the river flows by. Watch the magnificent forest vegetation and can expect huge Crocodiles basking Sun on the shore. Reach Tiger Point and if time permits forest hiking will be organized to watch the wild life.

Day 3:

Early morning take a country boat ride to explore the mysterious Egg Island and newly raised Pokhir Char and also cruise in the narrow canal for bird watching. After breakfast, sail for Katka Wild life sanctuary(2 hrs), take a boat trip through a canal to Jamtali. At Jamtali an hour long walks through the meadows towards the beach. The Jamtali beach is one of the most beautiful and unpolluted beaches in the Sundarbans. Here you can sit back and relax and enjoy your time. Back to the main boat for lunch around 1.30PM. After lunch take a short trip round the Kotka forest office in side the conservation area to watch sunset on the Bay of Bengal from a pristine and isolated beach or some other activities. Back to the boat and anchor for the night at Kotka. This night you will be offered Bar-B-Q dinner.

Day 4:

Early morning if time permits we will organize canal cruising by country boat. In the morning part the boat will resume its journey towards Khulna.  Those who will avail evening flight to Dhaka will disembark at Mongla and take a car ride to Jessore. With the rest of the guests, the cruise will continue towards Khulna. After dinner drive back to Dhaka by bus/ train.

Day 5:

Reach Dhaka by early morning and get down at any station you feel convenient. The tour ends with thanks.

Food Menu:

Breakfast: Bread/Butter/Egg:/Jelly/Honey/Chapati/ Parata/ Mixed Vegetables Thick Dal/ Tea/ Coffee/ Fruit.

Lunch: Plain Rice/ Bhuna Khichuri, Mixed vegetables, Fish Curry / Meat, Dal, Potato Chop / Salad.

Evening: Plain cake. Biscuits, Chanachur, Fruits and Tea /Coffee.

Dinner: Plain Rice/Rice Polao, Mixed Vegetables. Meat/ Fish, Salad, Dessert.

Special Offer: Bar-B-Q dinner.

Terms and Condition:

Khulna to Dhaka by train/AC Bus
For foreigners (irrespective of their age) @ TK.2500 per pax as forest tax will be added. All our quoted prices are inclusive of all transfers accommodation, meals, sightseeing, forest permission with armed guards, and experienced guide.

Note: If travel by air, additional cost will be added.
Please also note the additional fees for using video camera- for Bangladeshi Tk. 100.00( per day) & for foreigner Tk.200.00 (Per day)will be applicable.

Deposit & Payment:

We need to pay 50% of your tour fees as deposit to confirm your booking. The rest you need to pay 4 days before the tour starts.

DO’S WHILE ON    CRUISER

•    Do not drop anything in the water or in the Jungle; use the “BIN” on the boat.
•    Smoking and any kind of fire are strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
•    Be economic in use of any kind of water and electricity.
•    Have your meals in time, for smooth management.
•    Maintain silence during night – time (21:00 – 06:00) to enjoy the nature.
•    Take care of your valuables
•    Keep a watch to your children.

DO’S WHILE IN THE   JUNGLE

•    While inside the jungle, never be alone. Be in a group all the time.
•    No harm to any plants in the forest and do not disturb the wild animals.
•    For any problem always talk to your guide only.
•    Avoid the striking color in the jungle, use jungle - friendly dress.
•    Do not use perfume inside the jungle, as it irritates the wildlife.
•    Sundarbans is a reserved forest and without any habitation by human. For any unprecedented circumstances, keep cool and cooperate with the guide to control the situation.
